Instead of celebrating with dinner, I dragged my husband straight to Home Depot to pick out new flooring.
A few days later, I ripped out all the carpet myself while he was at work. When he got home, it was all piled up on the front lawn.
From tearing down kitchen cabinets to tiling bathroom floors, I’ve learned a lot along the way!
I’ll never forget the day we closed on that first house:
I’ve always been fascinated by real estate. Despite enrolling in a real estate licensing course twice, fear of failure held me back from taking the final test. In 2018, my husband and I bought our first home, a fixer-upper I hoped to flip quickly.
